Kenda Drive-in Movie Theatre

The Kenda drive-in movie theatre opened in 1966, in Marshall Arkansas. This drive-in experience is family owned. It's a great nugget where the past (speakers hung on poles outside your car) meets the present (tuning into your car radio.) Generally showing double features on weekends, they also show single features on Mondays and Tuesdays. They also have more events, like a vintage "car show." There's one screen under the stars. You are allowed to smoke. You can sprawl out or stay tucked away in your car and they show the latest movies.
For my mom and I, this drive-in was about 2 hours away. The drive is the epitome of Arkansas, SCENIC. Beautiful woods, mountains, and acres of farmland. With houses, forgotten towns, and those great stores with gigantic, unique statues out front. So peaceful and calming. We've seen Cruella (live action), Toy Story 4, and The Lion King (live action.) I urge you to try their pulled pork nachos, (Sooooo delicious, we'd order them every trip!) and of course the infamous chocolate roll. I will say, we never stayed the night after the movie, so if you are not a fan of driving in the dark, I would recommend staying nearer to the drive-in.
We enjoyed this drive-in so much! I hope you check it out for yourself and let me know what you think down below. Until next time. Bye!
