HOSE?!?

So, I have a bite size ;) story for you guys. This is a story that happened a few weeks ago at my current job. I work in Florida, outside. (Yeah, not for the faint of heart.) As some of you may know, Florida has a bunch of wildlife. I'm talking SNAKES, boars, coyotes, alligators, crocodiles, big a** spiders, etc. This story involves a snake. Enjoy!

Ok, to start, I had just finished going up to a person's house and was walking on the path away from their place. I could see a black, skinny looking hose out of the corner of my eye in the grass. I went to step on it, and the "hose" moved. Luckily, for both of us, I missed him and also, it was just a black, harmless garden snake. The way it slithered away and the fact that I almost came foot to scale with it......still gives me the willies.
