My boyfriend is absolutely obsessed with Buc-ee's. When I told him I had never been, he was flabbergasted. He has a blanket, neck pillow, and stuffed animal of the beaver himself. He adores their fudge and praises the "Buc-ee God." Even after how much he told me about this "wonderous land of fudge and jerky," I didn't understand the hype. The only gas station on somewhat of this magnitude that I had ever visited was the Busy Bee. My mom and I have stopped off to gas up, enjoy their delicious, honey puffed nuggets, and use their spacious bathrooms on our way to Disney World. This gas station was always incredible busy! Anyway, back to the bodacious beaver. After we took our ceremonious picture with the beautiful Buc-ee, we headed inside. Walking in, it hit me all at once how vast this place really was. I was so in awe, that I literally stood between the Mardi Gras merchandise and homeware with my mouth agape. "Could this be a real place?" "Where was I?" I quickly snapped out of it when my boyfriend took my hand to go explore. He was floating on cloud nine as he took me all around this "gas station." From the jerky wall to the wrapping paper, to paintings, to candles, to jumbo games like bag go and connect four, to shirts, to scrunchies, to outdoor mats, to stuffed animals, to leashes, to collars, to grills, to the snack sections, to the drink station, then the carving station, then the fudge station. Don't even get me started on the bathroom, spacious, clean, there was even hand sanitizer in the stall itself, and the door went all the way to the floor! I truly didn't know what to say besides, my boyfriend was right......Buc-ee's is life altering! Of course, our collection has been added to, my first Buc-ee's shirt, puzzle, pillow, wrapping paper, and our year-round Buc-ee nutcracker. We also tried out their car wash, which is a normal carwash with a surprise once you enter, so get your cameras ready. You may already get the hype of Buc-ee's but if you don't and you've never been, I highly recommend. I never knew a gas station could be that big! Also, there's a new drinking game word! Until next time. Bye.
Fun Fact: The first Buc-ee's opened in 1982.
