I believe in ghosts: Part Two

As promised, I'm here to bring you some paranormal stories from my time at our second him. (No longer "the hole.") Enjoy!

We moved to a 3 bedroom, 2-and-a-half-bathroom home when I was 3 years old. This home was where I grew up, until we eventually moved out to take care of my grandparents. Once moved in, the paranormal experiences happened somewhat quickly. I would see the spirit of a little girl in my room. My mom would hear me talking and ask me who I was chatting with. "The little girl in my room." I would say. "Where is she now?" she asked, I would bluntly say, "She leaves when you come in the room." I go on seeing, playing, and talking to this little girl until she inevitably (I assume) moved on.

Next, came the footsteps down the hall. This one was extremely eerie. To understand a little better, I'll talk you through the setup of our house. When you walked in the front door, you had the living room, dining room, and back door all in one space. If you turned right just past the living room, you entered the kitchen. If you kept walking, you'd find the spare bedroom on the right, and a little ahead was our full bathroom on the left, my mom's bedroom on the right, and my bedroom dead ahead. (Spooky and rhymey.)

Ok, now that you're standing in my childhood home, let's get back to the footsteps. I usually liked my bedroom door open while I slept when I was younger, that way I could reach my mom if I needed her. As I lay in my bed, fast asleep, I awake to heavy footsteps walking down the dark hallway toward me. Once at my room, the footsteps would stop. This happened frequently enough that I asked my mom to turn my bed, so I could look right down the hall. I wanted to see who was coming. The same routine followed, heavy footsteps, me waking up, but this time, I looked up and there was no one there, the footsteps just stopped.

This, of course, made me afraid of sleeping in my room. My mom eventually had a "coming to Jesus" moment with our unwanted guest. She stood in the kitchen and told them "Listen, you can stay here but you're scaring my daughter, and you need to stop." After that, no more footsteps. I was able to sleep in my room again without fear of this unknown, heavy footed being coming to get me. (So, bigfoot, I was scared of BIGFOOT?!)

I'm really enjoying writing/recalling these paranormal stories and I hope you're enjoying reading them. In my comments all the way at the bottom of the page, tell me some of your ghost experiences. Stick around for more scary stories next week!

Until next time. Bye!
