Delivering with a smile

Ok, I've been a delivery partner for about a year now. I don't have any particularly bad stories from my time doing this.... but, like any other job, customers and even coworkers can make you slightly crazy. (I need a venting session, it's already been a week, lol.) Here's some nuggets of times that has happened me over this past year. Enjoy!
To begin, I know I am not the only one who gets annoyed when customers/coworkers tell you how to your job. Like, "have you tried this," or "well if you just did this?" (Grinds my gears every time.) Another, when a customer asks the absolute most of you while paying the smallest amount. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy helping customers but sometimes that one person tips the scales toward less than thrilled to help. You know what I mean?
Then of course you have people who are just plain rude. Luckily, I've had very few run ins with rude customers. Honestly, it's been more "coworker" related than anything. For instance, one time I was literally harassed by an employee who didn't understand how a button worked in my job. They believed I hadn't done the correct operation when indeed I had but it still was the same color but different phrasing. I told her as well as showed them it was different. I even said (in an abrupt tone) "I'm leaving now," but that didn't stop them from following me saying, "Hit the button, hit the button!"
All in all, I have been pretty lucky with the interactions I've had. The customers and most coworkers are nice, and I've been able to sustain myself with this opportunity. I have so much flexibility and can be there for the people I love. Please share some of your job stories below. Until next time. Bye!
